Local Road Rides

Road Rides

Meyersdale isn't just for trail riding anymore. We have teamed up with our friends at
Cycle Laurel Highlands  to create two road rides. Both are challenging even for the
seasoned cyclist yet forgiving enough for the less experienced. Cyclists can follow
detailed real-time directions using the Ride with GPS app.

Ride 1 Amish Countryside

40.8 mi +3,098’ –3,089’
Our first ride meanders you across Meyersdale’s surrounding Amish countryside. Over
the 40.8-mile adventure you will climb 3,098’, ride in two states, pass a military tank,
cross over the Casselman River four times and have an angel looking over you. FYI: keep
a close eye out for Bigfoot as you travel through the village of St. Paul.

Ride 2 Heroes Ride

45.5 mi +3,481’ -3,479’
The Heroes Ride is dotted with quilted farmlands {keep an eye out for a few cool barn
stars), quaint country homes and small towns. The town of Berlin boasts the highest
elevation of any town in the state of Pennsylvania. Of course you will make a loop to
return at the Flight 93 National Memorial grounds. Take a break and reflect on the
events of that horrible day.
