The GAP

IS MORE THAN A BIKE RIDE

THOUGHTFUL AMENITIES

Convenient on-site bike wash and secure bike storage help our guests relax upon arrival and throughout their stay. While we’re known for our outgoing, social atmosphere, each of our 11 guest rooms has its very own private bathroom. Continental breakfast, wireless internet access, and ADA compliance make Yoder’s an extremely accommodating and relaxing experience for all.

THE MAPLE CITY

Meyersdale, PA sits atop The Great Allegheny Passage. Celebrate this amazing accomplishment and treat yourself to a day or two of R&R.  A restful and rejuvenating stay is guaranteed at Yoder’s thanks to our comfy beds, refreshing private bathrooms, and carefully-selected food and beverage options. Oh, and don’t forget—it’s all downhill from here!

BETTER TOGETHER

Friendly guests stay at Yoder’s Guest House. Our engaging front porch and charming rear patio provides a unique opportunity for guests to meet one another, share stories from the trail, and plan for the trail ahead—wherever it may lead! It doesn’t matter where you’re from or where you’re heading next, Yoder’s Guest House is the perfect place to relax, refuel, and recognize the beauty of your journey.

Local Road Rides

Meyersdale isn't just for trail riding anymore. We have teamed up with our friends at
Cycle Laurel Highlands  to create two road rides. Both are challenging even for the
seasoned cyclist yet forgiving enough for the less experienced. Cyclists can follow
detailed real-time directions using the Ride with GPS app.

Ride 1 Amish Countryside

40.8 mi +3,098’ –3,089’
Our first ride meanders you across Meyersdale’s surrounding Amish countryside. Over
the 40.8-mile adventure you will climb 3,098’, ride in two states, pass a military tank,
cross over the Casselman River four times and have an angel looking over you. FYI: keep
a close eye out for Bigfoot as you travel through the village of St. Paul.

Ride 2 Heroes Ride

45.5 mi +3,481’ -3,479’
The Heroes Ride is dotted with quilted farmlands {keep an eye out for a few cool barn
stars), quaint country homes and small towns. The town of Berlin boasts the highest
elevation of any town in the state of Pennsylvania. Of course you will make a loop to
return at the Flight 93 National Memorial grounds. Take a break and reflect on the
events of that horrible day.
